Vedanta Institute Hyderabad donated sports items, like skipping ropes, tennicoit rings, chess boards, carom boards, foot balls, throw balls; to a government elementary school, at Vajpai Nagar, Neredmet.
The institute has been conducting continuous Life - Skill programs, in various parts of Andhra Pradesh, for college students, school children and imparting higher values to children above six years of age, free of charge. These sessions are conducted by trained graduates of Vedanta Academy, founded by Swami Parthasarathy, near Lonavala, Maharashtra.
The institute also conducts yajna's, disseminating knowledge of life and living, free of charge. Smt.Sunandaji, daughter - disciple of Swamiji, has been conducting these yajnas, for the last two decades in Hyderabad. These yajnas are attended by large audiences from a cross section of society.
